The Gabo and Macondo scholarships

Newton's apple and LFT's guava, 2 scholarship model for economic development

The Macondo Scholarships for re-tooling: The creation of scholarships to learn, experiment and apply a re-tooling program of how economic systems and digital technologies can help us move forward. For example, describing the different forms of capitalism such as state, private and community capitalism or the use of free & open software, with millions of dollars free of charge online for our students.

The Gabo  Scholarships for history and development: Started with 10 scholarships with a market value of $10,000 Au for central Queensland in Australia, focused in rural and indigenous people. Today we are offering 10 scholarships to public schools in Colombia and other South American nations. Education for opportunity and prosperity is the goal of this particular scholarship model.

Scholarships' description: It includes and reforms the idea that if I don't deal with politics, politics will deal with me. We are for 'if you don't deal with economy, economy will deal with you'. The new economy needs new skills and uses of the new technology age.

The workforce of tomorrow: LFT is a virtual reality games producer online and it hosts an "Experimental Economics Centre". The reason being that if we don't experiment our local, personal or nano economy, eventually we will risk to end up poor and violent.

Multicultural & Multi-communication: The scholarships address a prosperity education model, based on "how to use technologies and communication" to foster economic development. LFT-Australia was conceived by our founders living in the third world under civil war as well las from Australian residents enjoying the community capitalism practices.

Fast retooling for a fast economy: LFT has successfully using the LFT method who consist in the observation, data collection, exploration, practice and exit strategies to a rational decision making process to improve their livelihood.

History and support across boundaries: The framework is tailored about Macondo, the tree used by Garcia Marquez, a Nobel price from Colombia. The traditional market rules no longer applies, technologies are proposing a new environment and therefore the tools have shifted considerably. We need to re-train people to make the most and be ready for the jobs of the future. The ability to communicate and collaborate.

Our program:
  1. Education from examples and solutions.
  2. Experiment with local, regional or international options.
  3. Practice to develop networks towards prosperity.
  4. Access to funding (grants, crowd, private, community, etc.)
  5. Follow up.

Scholarship holders: We have 2 areas to populations, (1) from 7 to 10 years old and (2) from 11 to 16 years of age. The education is delivered online partnering with public schools, trade unions, enterprises, governments and private businesses actings and hosts to browse the new market force.
